mp3: Dash Jacket - Melting Gaze

New pals Dash Jacket reached out last week to send me a taste of their double-pronged new releases. They’ve got a CD on personal favorite Life’s Blood entitled Romance which is now available.

They also just released a rad cassette called High Spirits which is out now too via their own little label, Ultravivid Recordings.

Here’s one of the tracks from High Spirits, the fittingly titled “Melting Gaze.”

LIFE’S BLOOD sent me some tracks from their upcoming slew of rad February releases. WONDER WHEEL’s SUCCOTASH X’s, THOROUGHBRED by ANTN HRKWK, MITT LIV SOM KATT by GOES CALYPSO and KITES SAIL HIGH’s ALONE will all see a fit and proper release by the end of this week. They like to use caps so I’ll stay with the style.

All four albums come with big thumbs up from me, so here’s a track to wet your whistle by WONDER WHEEL.

mp3: Tan Dollar - LC’s Choice

After posting Tan Dollar’s amazing self-titled track on the WGWB compilation, the Cali-based trio shot me over another track from their impressive Your Body As A Temple CD on LIFE’S BLOOD.

Washed out vocals and a flurry of percussion carry this number to really wonderful heights. Give it a listen, listen to the self-titled track on the comp, and then keep riding the breezy groove and buy the disc if you feel up for it.
